2009 NEW STUDENT BBQ

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

What you can get from the BBQ:

Meeting new friends here!

Multiple Chinese society clubs !!!

(Basketball ,Soccer,etc)

Free food !!!

There also will be a seminar introducing the knowledge of football and the life in State College. Be free to ask questions to the volunteers here.

(For those who are not new students, we need more volunteers，including transportation，decoration，activity coordinating. Please contact Deng Hao：hzd108@psu.edu )

BBQ Place：Tom Tudek Memorial Park (details in below)

2：00 Please arrive at Pattee Library bus stop(south side),volunteers will take you to the BBQ location. (在Patee Library bus stop 集合，将有志愿者负责接送)

Important notice:

Please make sure that you arrive at the bus stop before 2:30 pm so that we can take you to the BBQ in time because of the Football Day traffic.

3:00-4:30 New Student Seminar

5:00-6:00 BBQ

6:00-7:00 Sports activity, club recruitment

7:00-7:30 Back to Library

If you want to go to the BBQ place by yourself, please take the bus of route N，Get off at Northland center on Martin St., turn left on Herman Dr. (You should see Weis Market on your right facing North). Follow down Herman Dr. till the end.

致 Penn State 的中国朋友们

亲爱的Penn State的中国朋友们，大家好!

新一届的中国学生会(PSU CFA)现已成立。我们将共同志愿服务于宾州州立大学的华人社区，积极拓展各种渠道和寻求多样方式，届时将组织举办各项活动为大家提供施展才华的平台。新一届的团队不仅将传承以往CFA的优良传统，并将以一个更具活力和感召力的新形象出现在大家面前。

CFA自创办以来，其宗旨是服务全体中国留学生和学者，同时扩大中国文化在当地的影响力。作为一个活跃的学生组织，CFA多年以来一直积极参与和举办各类活动，在华人社区和学校当地都收到了热烈的反响，多次在学校的年度社团活动评比中获奖。

CFA的成长离不开社会各界朋友的支持和帮助，在这里我们新一届全体成员对此表示由衷的感谢，同时我们希望各界朋友能对我们的工作给与一如既往的关心和支持。在CFA的召唤下，我们走到了一起。我们将同心协力、团结互助、共同努力，把Penn State的中国社区建设得更加美好，也使我们的学习和生活变得更加丰富多彩。我们热忱欢迎和期待更多的朋友们加入到我们的行列中来，把CFA的活动办得更加多姿多彩，将更优质的服务呈现给Penn State的中国同胞们。
