新老生见面会即中秋欢庆活动

地点:

3:00pm-8:00pm Spring Creek (Near [1130-1199] Houserville Rd, State College, PA 16801)

8:00pm-11:00pm in front of Old Main

需要搭车的同学有两种方法:

1. 中午1:30 HUB 门口,志愿者逐渐把大家送到Spring Creek

2. M线bus 1:48pm;2:48pm 从Pattee发车(请提前复查交通图和时间表)

3. 7:30pm-8:00pm逐渐志愿者送同学们返回Old Main

4. M线bus 7:20pm; 8:20pm 左右从Spring Creek附近车站经过

活动安排:

1. 3:00pm-5:00pm 体育比赛和活动 (网球, 篮球, 跳长绳, 排球, 飞盘, 足球, etc)

2. 5:00pm-6:00pm 自助中餐 烧烤 文艺表演

3. 6:00pm-8:00pm 游戏和娱乐 抽奖

4. 8:00pm-11:00pm Old Main 赏月, 现场karaoke, 小食品, 月饼

票价$10每人

需要服务志愿者 10人 获赠免费票一张

需要接送同学(驾车)志愿者30-40人 获赠免费票一张

我们会在本周五, 下周一, 周二中午的12点到1点在HUB大厅售票.  购票从本周五(9月5日)开始到下周二(9月9日)结束 请大家尽快联系

Dear Friends,

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Game will have its Openning Ceremony this Friday. We won’t have a live show on TV in the US. The NBC channel will put on the ceremony on 8:00pm local time. If you want to be with other friends to celebrate this great moment and watch the openning ceremony together, we will have a great event in front of HUB.

We will get together in front of HUB about 6:45pm this Friday and RUN on campus. You can see the route on the flyer. We will prepare our national and olympic flags if some of you would like to run with them.

Those who just run for fun, can run as far as you want. For those who want to run more competitively, we will count the first 20 runners that finish 2 rounds. Small prizes will be provided for them.

Please do not worry about how far and how fast you can run. We just want to let the community know about the great moment and show our happiness. By the way, policemen are hired to guard each crossing so we are safe to run as crazy as we want !

Free pizze and drinks will be served after the running.
We will ask the HUB to turn to NBC channel and Watch the Openning Ceremony together in front of the big screen inside HUB.

We also call for the VoLunTeers to help us organize this special events.

亲爱的Penn State的中国朋友们 大家好,

宾夕法尼亚州立大学中国学生会(Penn State Chinese Friendship Association) 2008-2009届团队自从2008年3月组建以来, 一直积极努力和往届的成员们配合, 为大家提供帮助和服务.  在辅导员陈功老师的监督下, 我们在5月初进行了简单的换届仪式, 正式从上届成员们手里接过了接力棒. 随后, 大家又立即投入到新学期的活动和服务的准备当中去了.  在这里, 我谨代表Penn State CFA 2008-2009届团队全体成员和身边所有受到过大家帮助的朋友们, 对于大家一直以来给予学生工作的理解和给予身边中国同胞的支持表示感谢. 我们也希望大家会一如既往的互相团结, 互相帮助, 把Penn State 中国社区建设的更好, 使我们能够在异国开心的学习和工作, 愉快的生活.

同时, 我们也欢迎和期待更多有兴趣和我们一起用自己的业余时间, 来为中国社区做些工作的朋友们加入中国学生会. 我们期待能有更多有趣的想法和更加丰富的活动奉献给Penn State的中国同胞.
